Head of Sales at Winamp

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to drive our commercial and creator acquisition strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Manage a sales, acquisition, account management, and growth team across various customer segments, including:
    • Winamp for Creators and Bridger (creator acquisition and growth)
      • Lead a team of local salespeople across Europe and the US
    • Jamendo Licensing
    • Hotmixradio (collaborate with ad network partners to optimize ad revenue)
  • Monitor the market and analyze opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics.
  • Continuously improve growth solutions in terms of database size, segmentation, and lead qualification.
  • Oversee the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals.
  • Work with Operations to enhance client satisfaction and retention, reducing churn.
  • Represent Winamp at key industry events.
  • Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships with industry players of all sizes.

Who you are

  • 10 years of sales and revenue generation experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles, driving revenue growth internationally.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue in the music, entertainment, or tech industry.
  • Ability to craft and execute a comprehensive revenue generation strategy.
  • Experience managing an acquisition funnel and knowledge of growth strategies.
  • Strong data analysis skills and a history of decision-making based on business metrics.
  • Inspirational leadership style with a hands-on approach.
  • Able to travel globally.
  • Startup mindset, thriving in fast-paced, rapidly-changing environments.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate disruptive ideas.
  • Strong negotiation skills, even with larger industry players.
  • Fluent in English and French; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
